Centres of excellence
Programs
Eight complementary areas for training, research, experimentation and deployment of useful space solutions.
Space farming and agricultural intelligence
The programme develops applications combining Earth observation, remote sensing, environmental data and AI to address the challenges faced by Cameroonian and African agriculture.
Nanosatellites and space systems
The programme constitutes a research axis devoted to the design and development of experimental space technologies in order to progressively prepare the capabilities needed for future African satellite missions.
Youth, STEM and space exploration
The programme aims to create an environment for young Cameroonians and Africans to discover, experience and practice space science and technology through workshops, challenges, hackathons, training and collaborative projects.
Space Intelligence and Local AI
The programme aims to develop African capabilities in artificial intelligence applied to space science and scientific data.
Space communications
Resilient radio reception, signal processing and communication infrastructures.
