Responsible and scope
Reca Space Agency, based in Douala, Cameroon, determines the purposes of the processing described below. This policy applies to the public portal, contact form and optional audience measurements.
Contact form
When you write to RECA, we receive your name, your email address, your message, the subject of the request, your language and the original page. Telephone and organization are optional. An irreversible fingerprint of the IP address is used temporarily to limit abusive sending; The raw IP address is not saved in the RECA inbox.
The processing is used to receive, secure, qualify and respond to your request. It is based on your voluntary approach and your consent to the use of this information to respond to you. The version of the notice accepted and the time of consent are recorded with the message.
Optional audience measurement
If you allow, RECA generates a random session ID and measures page views, top clicks, reading time, scroll depth, referring site, campaign settings, device type, and country provided by the hosting infrastructure. This data is used to improve public information and the performance of the portal.
Internal statistics and Vercel Analytics remain disabled until you authorize this category. The “Do Not Track” signal is also respected by the internal measurement system.
Recipients and service providers
The information is accessible to authorized RECA members depending on their role. Supabase provides database and authentication; Brevo can transmit notifications and acknowledgments of receipt; Vercel hosts and distributes the portal and, upon consent, can provide audience measurement. General Translation can provide translation functions. These providers can process data from several countries depending on their infrastructure and contractual guarantees.
Shelf life
- Contact messages: up to 24 months after the last useful exchange, unless legal obligation or ongoing contractual relationship.
- Anti-abuse imprint: deletion or anonymization after 30 days.
- Audience measurement events: up to 13 months.
- Privacy Preference: Retained on your device until deleted or replaced.
- Technical security logs: limited duration necessary for incident prevention and analysis.
Security
RECA enforces role-based access control, database-level security policies, communications encryption, retry throttling, and administrative action logging. Since no system completely eliminates the risk, the measures are re-evaluated as the service evolves.
Your choices and rights
You can request access, rectification, deletion, limitation or export of information about you, and withdraw your consent for the future. Write to contact@recaspace.comwith sufficient information to find the request concerned. Proportionate proof of identity may be requested to avoid disclosure to a third party.
Withdrawal of statistical authorization is available at any time using the “Manage my choices” link in the footer. You can also delete local data from your browser settings.
Minors and modifications
The general form is not designed to receive sensitive data or personal information about children. Any material changes to this policy will result in a new dated version and, if necessary, a new consent choice.
